your specific engine. The amount of testing data and engineering resources used in
developing Polaris lubricants would overwhelm an aftermarket company. Therefore,
the aftermarket must spec an oil to an industry–wide standard that must account for a
variety of operating parameters.
PS-4 is designed specifically for Polaris 4-cycle engines and has high film strength and OIL A
wear protection under extreme loads and temperatures. Exclusive anti-wear additives OIL V OIL M
protect engine parts with extra rust and corrosion protection.
When tested against competitive oils, camshaft
bearing races and lobes exhibit less wear when
protected by Polaris PS-4 oil.
